An aging and troublesome bus threatening to disrupt a Glenwood-based special needs school’s ability to transport learners with physical impairments has been replaced, thanks to a mega donation by the South African Muslim Charitable Trust (SAMCT).
The organisation’s timely intervention resulted in the provision of a brand new 23-seater bus, equipped with a special hoist to assist passengers with walking aids. This significantly improved the transport requirement of Durban’s well-known Open Air School.
