A social welfare and humanitarian aid organisation, based in Overport, Durban, is set to radically expand its vital food relief distribution to needy school learners and vulnerable households following the donation of a brand-new vehicle, valued at some R330 000, by the South African Muslim Charitable Trust (SAMCT).
In the four years since its inception, the Khidmatul Khalq Foundation of South Africa has been responsible for the widespread food hamper and other humanitarian services provision, with representatives resorting to using their personal vehicles to ensure delivery of essential support to those most in need in Durban and its disadvantaged environs.
